SolaX adapter box for heating control (heat pump)

Solax adapter box with potential-free contact for controlling external consumers such as heating elements and heat pumps. The Smart Grid Ready function of the consumer is required. Different operating modes can be selected in the Solax inverter depending on generation and times.

The Solax Adapter Box allows the user to use the Solax inverter as an intelligent energy manager and to control the heat pump in the house in an intelligent way. There are three operating modes that the user can choose from:

Deactivate: In this operating mode, the function of the adapter box is deactivated. The heat pump is not controlled by the box.

Manual: In this mode, the user can manually turn the adapter box on or off via the settings on the inverter or via the Solax Mobile App.

SmartSave: The SmartSave mode allows the user to adjust various parameters on the Solax inverter to intelligently control the heat pump. The parameters to be configured are:

Feed-in power threshold (a): If the feed-in power is greater than or equal to this value, the adapter box switches on and the heat pump heats the water to a higher temperature.

Power consumption threshold (b): As soon as the power consumption from the grid is greater than or equal to this value, the adapter box is switched off and the Solax system cuts off the power supply to the heat pump.

Battery SOC threshold (c): When the battery SOC drops to the set value, the adapter box switches off and the Solax system stops supplying power to the heat pump.

In addition to these thresholds, there are other parameters that the user can set, such as the minimum working time of the heat pump, the cumulative working time of the heat pump and the scheduled working times of the heat pump.

The SmartSave mode allows the user to control the heat pump to maximize self-consumption and ensure the heat pump operates efficiently to optimize energy consumption in the home.
