SMA AC_SPD_KIT2_T1T2 Retrofit kit AC surge arrester (Type I/II)

SMA module kit for AC surge arresters type I and II. Surge protection is required to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes. A well-known example of this is overvoltage and lightning strikes. However, the surge protection creates a potential equalization that leads to the neutralization of the voltage differences. This means that all connected solar modules and inverters remain undamaged.

Type I surge protection provides protection against direct lightning strikes. Type II has a lower value than Type I and only protects against indirect lightning strikes.
