Product description

BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM is a high-voltage battery storage unit suitable for all applications for 1- and 3-phase systems with a flexible modular system and parallel connection, suitable for all photovoltaic systems

BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS is a high-voltage rechargeable battery storage device for all applications, suitable for 1- and 3-phase systems with a flexible modular system and parallel connection, suitable for all photovoltaic systems

The new battery storage system generation BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM and HVS is based on the well-known storage and has all previous functions. The Battery-Box Premium HVM and HVS is a battery module that has higher storage capacities than its predecessor. Advances in cell technology have reduced system weight by almost 30%. The overall depth has also been reduced by 8 cm. As a result, less floor space is required. At the same time, the new devices appear slimmer. One of the highlights: The new storage systems have the "protection class IP55". This also enables use outdoors.

BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM batteries are more flexible and scalable. With the new generation, up to three battery towers can now be connected to form one system. BYD remains true to itself when it comes to loading and unloading. Each battery can also deliver the nominal capacity as current - i.e. 1C. This makes the new series ideal for - on-grid, plus backup and off-grid systems.

BYD Premium HVM and HVS modules are compatible with Kostal Plenticore Plus, Sungrow Hybrid, GoodWe ET-BT-EH series as well as SMA Sunny Boy Storage, Fronius and Kaco Hybrid inverters.

HVS stands for "High Voltage Stackable" and refers to the BYD B-Box Premium HVS battery storage. The difference between the HVM and HVS BYD storage is in contrast to the HVM, the HVS works in the high voltage range, typically at 400 volts. The HVS is designed for use in larger applications such as commercial or industrial environments where higher performance and scalability are required.

The difference between HVM and HVS BYD battery storage lies in the voltage levels at which they operate.

HVM stands for "High Voltage Modular" and refers to the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM battery storage. This works in the low-voltage range and is designed for use in 48-volt systems. The HVM is well suited for smaller applications such as homes and small commercial establishments.
